Thomas Brenzikofer is Director DayOne Initiative and Senior Project Manager ICT. Since January 2017, he has focused on developing the Precision Medicine functional area under the "DayOne" label, and is also the media spokesperson for BaselArea.swiss. From November 2012 to December 2015, Thomas Brenzikofer was Deputy CEO, Head of Communications and Manager of ICT Technology for i-net innovation networks switzerland.
Thomas Brenzikofer is also on the board of directors of the quality label "swiss made software", is familiar with the Swiss ICT industry thanks to his publishing activities. He was co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Netzwoche IT magazine from 2000 to 2010. He later launched the "C-level Magazin" business journal and worked on the industry compendium "Swiss Made Software - the Book" as joint editor and author. He started out in journalism in 1993 as editor of the "WerbeWoche" trade paper. In 1998, he was appointed editor of the digital lifestyle magazine "Smile". As a partner in the ZBM Press Office, he contributed as a freelance journalist to Cash, Facts, Bolero and various daily newspapers on matters related to e-business, the internet and the new economy.
Thomas Brenzikofer studied philosophy and German language and literature at the University of Basel, specialising in communication and media studies.
